Progress
I met with my dissertation adviser this morning, and realized that I'm in a lot better shape for getting everything done for my defense (in April) than I thought I was.
I still have a lot of work, but I should have something working (as in the sense of getting data in and out of the repository) by this weekend.
Ashley and I have decided that Hawai'i is going to happen the third week of August. I'm excited.
Having a permanent job is a big relief. I think the biggest relief is having paid vacation - I can get away without having to worry about paying bills when I get back.
