days of bliss, how much i've missed you!

sooo .. i noticed my lack of posting since the holiday began.
which is completely nonsense, since it IS the holiday.
you know. holiday. the event where i spend days doing practically NOTHING but ruining my eyesight by staring at the monitor screen and the TV screen. and new addition to this year, the laptop screen. how sad is that? lol

all my scores finally came up.

• interlegal law: b-
• airspace law: b+
• law of treaties: c (this one kinda sucks .. i think i'll be retaking it next year.)
• private international law: c (which is kinda shocking, considering that the highest score in class was a c+, and sandra and mimi did NOT pass the class)
• law of the sea: b
• diplomatic law: b (i'm pretty sure it could've been at least a b+, but i know how the old mr.lecturer-slash-ex-ambassador hates scribbly writings. hey, that many questions for only 60 minutes? no fair!)
• law of international & regional institutions: B+ (also quite a shock, seeing that most of the class only got c-c+, even charles who's from class of '02 and already took it thrice and still ended up with c+.)

final score? i counted 2.89, tho the online system said 2.78. whatev dude. compared to last semester's 2.41, it's a big leap. i'm still grinning ear to ear. definitely a boost to my GPA. target for next semester? why not 3, the 'sacred' point for us in FHUI. trust me, i'm good at forcing myself to do stuff.

so, what exactly have i been doing these past 2 weeks?

• been playing sims obsessively. i just cant get enough of the custom content from all these mod sites. sheesh!
• mini-games? not quite an option nowadays. y'see, i got them installed on my usb flashdrive, and the small thing is in ipat's hands. so i guess i'll have to wait til ipat got around to give the lil thing back to me before i can get back on playing pizza frenzy and stuff.
• somehow, babah got me and my sis a dvd player to put in our very own bedroom. and we bought TONS of dvds just weeks ago. so .. yeah, aside from playing sims obsessively, i've been watching seasons 4&5 of scrubs, seasons 1&2 of nip/tuck and some movies. i even bought borat, thinking i would eventually like the jackass slapstick type of comedy. turned out i still didnt like it. oh well.
• anyhoo. holidays and movies are usually accompanied by yummy snacks, no? and hot days, seeing that it has stopped raining, aare perfect when accompanied with ice cream, no? guess what, ppl. i've lost 3 kilograms in the past 2 weeks. ha, i even amaze myself. well, if this thing goes out well and i'm able to lose more so i could get rid of all the excess fat, at least me sis and her boyf will stop comparing me to senor lovelace from happy feet *you know, the extra flabs on the belly. huhuhuhu yeah how sad is that.

.. funny. i thought after some time of not writing i was gonna put in lots and lots of story. but truth be told, i got nothing more to write down here. bottom line: i'm happy, life's been good. and sometimes it's just enough, right? :) after a long, hard, gruesome semester, i DO deserve this relaxing holiday.

just me, my happy mind, the good life, the clear blue skies, good day sunshine. the closest thing to perfection just yet. :)
