Oh no, he was disqualified for I think either getting in the way of another skater or touching one of them by accident or something. While the judges were determining the outcome of the race, he just happened to be sitting on the sidelines, disrobing and putting his stuff away. Sorry my poorly worded sentence confused you :P

Oh I see. I heard about the disqualification today when I was watching the Olympics. I missed that particular race. Thanks for straightening me out. :)

Haha, I don't know what it is about Chan's eyes, but it's like they're too bright or something. Or maybe a little crossed? I don't even know. What did he say about Johnny? No one messes with Johnny!

I guess it's about time to let go of my figure skating icons again now that the games are almost over. Sigh.

It's weird because in pictures and stuff, Chan looks completely normal, but then on TV his eyes were bugging out. IDEK. Oh well.

When asked about the unspoken rules about the kiss and cry area, he said: "If you were watching yesterday, Johnny Weir put the flowers on (his) head. That's like a big no-no. You don't do that. You have to have some kind of professionalism and that's just kind of- you're making fun and you know, giving it a bad image, I think, in my mind. It's something that you don't do. You're supposed to be proper."

So basically he's calling Johnny unprofessional for a stupid reason. Seriously, Patrick, take a chill pill. It's just ice skating :P

Oh come on Patrick, lighten up! Maybe he's just jealous he didn't have his own crown of roses, LOL. In kiss and cry people are always making faces at the camera and saying weird stuff to their fans at home, jumping up and down and screaming when they have good scores, etc. Is that the professional behavior he is talking about? It always seemed to me to be an emotional place, so whether it's crying or anger or just having fun, that all seems to fit into what that space is for.
