LOLOLOL. So I'm watching the BBC's new adaptation of Emma, going in with no expectations whatsoever, and I'm kind of loving it (despite it being semi-poorly written/acted in some places). Granted, it's not Jane Austen's Emma, Andrew Davies's Emma, or even Douglas McGrath's Emma (I have a soft spot for the Paltrow/Northam version, and pretty much no adaptation will beat it for me in sheer adorableness) - but it's Sandy Welch's Emma, and since she gave us North & South (which isn't 100% like Elizabeth Gaskell's book either, and yet still entirely awesome), I'm watching it with an open mind. And I'm pretty darn forgiving.
Anyway, I kind of wished they would air all four episodes in one go. Having to wait a week in-between is annoying :\
