Dude, part of me really doesn't want to post it because it's not great - it's adequate, and maybe even bordering on vaguely good-ish (if you squint and have low standards), but it's not as great as it could be if it were being written by someone else. And there have been some GREAT fic lately, so I'm kind of like "Ugh, this is terrible in comparison".
But then the other part of me is like "Girl, just finish the stupid story, post it, and move onto something else. Who cares if people like it or not? It's just a story."
At first I was leaning toward the former, but as the weeks have passed I'm learning toward the latter now. But I have so much editing/writing to do (not just the stuff you suggested, but other new stuff A thought would be good to put in), and my brain really wants to give up.
However, I might try and get something done this weekend/early next week. If I send you something, would you be able to take a quick last look before I posted?

so I'm kind of like "Ugh, this is terrible in comparison". I think that a lot, too. Not with every story, but with a lot of them. But you can't give up! It is a good story, and the only way to become a better writer is to keep doing it. So even though I'm sure you're probably so tired of it - another feeling I am intimately familiar with - I do think you should keep at it. I'll gladly take another look at it before you post - just send it along whenever you think it's ready. &hearts
OMG, I didn't realize that PS ends in a week. LOL, well, I'm never going to get my other stories finished in time. Boo.
BTW, I was wondering, do my GK doodles based on romanticalgirl's GK PS-ish poem count? (LOL, it's so sad that I have to resort to shennanigans to feel like I've participated in the skirmish *is a dork*)
