"So do not worry, saying, `What shall we eat?' or `What shall we drink?' or `What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
Matthew: 6:31-34
My heart was set on Porkers and Beans, and I was stressing so much about how I would be able to deal with FIV and all of the expenses that followed. I was also very much distressed about the guilt of not adopting them thinking that no one else would, which would lead them to be inevitably euthanized.
This was taken care of in two ways: The lady I was dealing with revealed to me that if not adopted, they had a home that cats with FIV go to in south Florida.
Not only that, but out of the blue my little sister's roommate, while driving on the highway, heard the cries of a stray kitten that had made its way into her car engine. It was recovered, completely unscathed, and is now living with me :] God truly provides, the coincidence is too obvious.
The girl that found her named her LuckyCharm, which I didn't like, so I call her L.C. which sounds like Ellsy, which is an entirely different name that still stays true to the original. Beautiful blue eyes, gray/white stripes with a white belly, and within the time I've had her, she's really warmed up to people. Extremely adventurous, loves finding anything to climb in and disappear (such as under dishwashers and bedcovers). I'd put up a picture, but I don't have a camera.
Yeah, that's what's happening.
