I live!!!
Shortly after I made that last entry last Friday I bought a new CPU and motherboard for my computer. Went from an Athlon XP 1800+ to a P4 3ghz. Nice little jump if I do say so myself. In the next 4 days I had 6 BSODs and 4 unexplained crashes/reboots. I took the CPU back and did an exchange on it since the 2 meg L2 cache wasn't showing in ANY program that's made to report such things. No change. It was then suggested that my problem might be an issue with my powersupply. Shortly after that my computer did it's last unexplaned reboot but this time it didn't restart. Nothing I could do would start the computer up so I decided it was time to look for a new powersupply. 2 days later and I'm back! Hopefully this'll solve my problems. If not I may be taking my motherboard back in the next few days.
