I just trapsed through rain and wind just to find an internet cafe. there was only one in town and it was i mcdicks and it didnt even work!! So here I am on the 'outskirts' of cardiff aka 5 mins from town. i thought cardiff was bigger than this..town consists of maybe 4 longish streets. i was used to london i guess..which has maybe 100000000 main streets. So the job is workign out well. Everyone is sooo nice and really easy to make friends. THeres about 50 employees..its crazy. last night they had a party in the bar for someone who was leaving and i met so many of the workers. Its quite tiring im working like 10 hour days prett much. tonight is student night and it closes at 3 which means i dont get to leave til4ish. its qutie fun though..even though its super busy i dont find myself gettign stressed. On satuday theres A HUGEEE rugby mathc..wales vs. something i think.. hah. anyway every single worker is on for saturday. they expect to make 100 000£+ which is 220 000 can$ aka its gonna be so fucking busy. afterwards the bar staff are getting locked in. we get all draughts beer/cider free and its gonna be a gong show of no sleep and wastedness. So far i like working there..i guess im only 2 days in, but i think i'll be able to manage for a few months. im stoked about goign somewhere hot tho. then again, who isnt?
