You know, I would have to say that I can relate to both of your comments. The only unfortunate part is that I am currently single. Bigwall, it seems to me that you are simply having some issues finding a goal. You have decided to "be yourself" and all that, but what good is that without direction.

I personally say that I know who I am and what I want to do. The point is, without direction you end up going in circles, looking for someone to fill that need for direction. When there is no one around, you then have to look to yourself. Without finding that direction on the first attempt you then direct your frustration toward some other, somewhat non-existent problem.

Your also right on another accord. You mentioned that your friends / relations seem to stay where you left them. Have you considered that maybe you need to make / develop a relationship with these people that is not centered around the place of meeting? I'm not sure how you have come to meet these people, but it also sounds like a lack of continuous communication may also contribute to the problem.

Lastly, your rant made perfect since to me. You just have to remember that feeling lonely is not always a bad thing. You have to remember to take time to focus on the relationship with yourself. To give yourself time to relax and recollect. Personally, that is something that I'm working on . . .

Feel free to read my blog at http://www.ericcredeur.com I too have written a post about being lonely. Let me know what you think with comments.

By the way, thanks for sharing. It makes me feel as though I'm not alone.
