This past week, I spent with Amanda in Spokane and met her family. First, we spent a couple days in Moses Lake with her grandparents. They are super and a super nice! And they live right on the lake!
And then onto Spokane for her family. I've heard about them a lot, but finally got to meet them. They are a kooky family! But I like them. Amanda's neice Skylar is 5 months old and adorable! He's not the crying baby type. And Amanda's cousins who are in 3rd grade, 1st grade and 2 years old, are a bucket full of energy! They are fun kids, but oh so tiring!
We went to a bunch of places to eat in Spokane. Frank's Diner is an old passenger train turned into a restaurant. Super delicious!!! "Dick's" in Spokane is good, but quite different than Seattle's Dick's.
Zip's Burger is what I consider similar to Burgerville in Vancouver. Twas good food! D'Lish burgers was good too; I really enjoyed their fries. I don't know why we ate so many burgers. Oh, and we went to Pizza Pipeline, which is where Amanda used to go for pizza during lunch in highschool. It was good!
And Amanda's mom made these great chicken tacos. She put the taco seasoning in the sour cream instead of the chicken. Genius!
In Moses Lake we enjoyed great home cooking. Amanda's Mac'n'Cheese, although not with the cheese she needed, but it was still delicious to me! Steak!! Noodles and shrimp, homemade Burgers, Lasagna! And for dessert, Angel Food cake, ice cream and strawberries!!
I love you babers!! Thank you for being my other half!
