*Yawn*... I'm not tired... it's dark... time? 2:45am... I just went to sleep at 2am. Why aren't I tired? Oh, it's Sunday morning, not Saturday morning anymore... crap. I just slept for 24 hours.
Anyhow, it occurred to me, while stumbling down the stairs to get a sprite, that the whole mbti thing might really make sense. Just the name of my new category, "Field Marshall," suggests leadership. And that is precisely what all of my jobs, to increasing degrees, have been for the last five years -- from linguistics researcher to camp counselor to camp credit facilitator to camp director -- and a year as a full time English teacher, somewhere in there as well. Of course, I've been getting more and more comfortable with making snap decisions, telling people what they need to do, and trying to find a balance between what they are comfortable with and where they are being the most productive. I've found that dealing with the consequences of making decisions can be just as fun as dreaming about all the possibilities.
Ok, I'm off to White Castle. Breakfast of Champions? We shall see.
