It means: What gossip have you heard recently, and who is the gossip about?
The rumor is currently circulating, or "traveling around" in the sense that it is being told from one person to the next (so, what is the rumor?); and the rumor pertains to some person, or is "about someone" in the sense that it refers to someone (so, who is the rumor about?).
