What the fuck
Last week I got a certified letter from the Louisiana Department of Revenue saying that they were garnishing my entire state refund and giving it right to the Department of Labor. What the fuck?!
Printed on the letter was a phone number for the Department of Labor collections department so I could contest it, which I immediately called. But it was a wrong number. After a few minutes of bouncing around from one department to another, I finally spoke to someone who could give me the correct number. I called and it rang and rang and rang. Just great. I've called a few times since then, and it either rings off the hook or it's busy. How am I supposed to fight this shit or find out any information if I can't get anyone on the phone?
Today I got a another letter saying I owed them $1,102. What the fuck?! I finally got to speak to someone, and she said the Department of Labor feels they overpayed me and they want their money back. I asked for dates of this overpayment and she said it was from September of 2005 to November 19, 2005, the very day we got back home. So I'm forced from my home, forced away from my job, and I'm not entitled to unemployment benefits? What the fuck?!
I am so pissed right now. I want to punch a wall, or someone's face. Fuck. I don't have that kind of fucking money. And why the fuck should I have to pay it back? Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.
