There is no better way to end a long night of campus dining work than drag racing your supervisor down San Gabriel Blvd. at midnight on a Monday Night! Im still feeling giddy about it, since I won!
These past couple of events have all been for the new president and a majority have been at the presidents house. This last one, which was for the Board of Trustees <($.$)> !! was one of the fanciest dinners I've been part of. For an appetizer they served fried artichoke hearts with sun dried tomato paste topped off with chives. Those were awesome!! I had to sneak in a few bites here and there. For dinner they had steak with goat cheese on top, mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. The steak was the best I have EVER had, so soft, juicy nicely cooked in the inside. Normally I have to use a 10" table saw to cut through a piece of steak, but this one.... MMMMMMMMmmmmmmmm, the fork and a barely sharp knife was all that I needed. For dessert it was some chocolate cake with strawberry topping. For the first time I'd have to say that I enjoyed the main course better than the dessert! *gasp*
Shower time!
