2010: The Year of Voice Overs
So as it goes, 2010 starts off with little hitch. I always felt that 2009 was a dry spell for me voiceover-wise. Other then the Open Audition at FUNimation, I was pretty much running a dry spell. Sure I did the occasional project here and there, it was certainly a good deal less then the year before. Some of it comes from me being less social last year, but whatever.
Well, now is 2010, and things seem to be moving in the right direction in that regard.
I have been presented two huge opportunities that may be the launch point into my dream.
1. One of my professors is giving people internships at FUNimation, and I was recommended.
2. My mother happened to talk to one of the lead voice over artists in the North Texas area and mentioned me. She is interested in hearing and distributing my demos amongst the people she knows in the industry.
Now before I get too excited, I better take advantage of these chances. I will keep you guys posted as soon as I know myself.
