So many questions! The hardest part of this project is getting started. What exactly am I researching? The effects of school vouchers on K-12 education. I do not have the resources or the time to fully study such a broad topic. My best bet is to analyze some of the assumptions behind the school voucher model. Areas that interest me include: do different families place different valuations of education, is a perfectly competitive market for education possible, and families level of Tiebout choice among school districts. Hopefully I can study one of these topics without having to do a large statistical survey. My ability to collect data and run econometric regressions is limited, making any empirical research difficult.
Also of note, it appears that my fellow researchers are working much harder than I am. Does this mean I am dicking around too much, or are they working too hard?
