I honestly don't see why we are trying to set teams now - three months prior to the event, when a date for this party hasn't even been set and the LJ community isn't the end all and be all of the attendees.

I agree with this somewhat... however... there's nothing wrong with being prepared.

Also... I do plan on buying 4 yellow sheets, cutting them into ovals, and painting each of the 4 fmaily names on them for the backdrop.

And oh yes, each family will need to strike a pose when they are introduced.
