Sandwiches

I'm sitting here eating a grilled cheese sandwich (my second sandwich in the last five hours - the first one was a roast beef and ham sandwich from WaWa, my favorite, but it didn't have any lettuce or oregano or a little bit of oil, and it tasted funny, which made me pretty upset) while watching a little bit of Monday Night Football, when it occurred to me that I had not yet enlightened the six of you that read about this past week in College Football.

Let's start (where else?) at the top with #1 Oklahoma. They traveled to Colorado and survived a scare to stay undefeated. I thought that perhaps Oklahoma would lose, and then every team in 1A college football (except for Miami) would have one loss. And then Miami could lose to Virginia Tech - that'd be weird. Well, the last test of the year for Okahoma will come next week against #14 Oklahoma State, but we're not gonna get too see it because of fucking Penn State and ABC's regionalized coverage.

There was some crazy stuff going on. Last Thursday, West Virginia upset Virginia Tech. After nearly beating Miami the previous week! I forget who, but some team scored 77 points - that's a lot. Congratulations to the Red Raiders of Rutgers University for pulling of a win against Temple. Unfortunately, Kent State lost again, 28-21, but hey, Buffalo won! Finally! I don't think I've mentioned this yet, but Buffalo always loses. Badly. Like, last week, they lost something like 56-3. So, congratulations to the Buffalo Bears? Beavers? Bulls? I don't know.

And last, my boys over at Tennessee pulled off a huge win, winning 51-43 in a five-overtime thriller. I think that's all for the college football for this week. No, wait! #11 Northern Illinois' dream season is over - they lost to Bowling Green last week. It's funny, though, because last year, when Bowling Green was undefeated and ranked 16th in the country, their season was ended by...Northern Illinois. It's a bitter irony.

I think it's time I got back to telling you stories, so you know what goes on in my daily life. I don't have one right now, but I'm gonna get a real good one ready for next time. Like the time where I went into WaWa and asked for a sandwich with Roast Beef and Ham and the guy gave me a hard time because I wanted two different types of meat. I think that's it. So, I hope you're all feeling as good as Tennessee right now - bye!
