Parker Brothers vs. Milton Bradley: Fight to the Death!

Aug 06, 2003 14:11

I have a lot of free time on my hands, so I'm in the car, getting lost in Philadelphia ("Girard Avenue, where did it go?" asks my dad) and I think to myself, if the Parker Brothers took on Milton Bradley in a fight to the death, who would win? Now of course, to be fair, this would be a tag-team fight, so Milton doesn't have to contend with both George and Charles at the same time. So, now, via the miracle of the Internet, you, yes you, can choose who will win the fight. Some background information - below is a list of the games that each of the companies are credited with creating. Leave a note and le the world know who YOU want to win.

Parker Brothers

  • Boggle
  • Clue - Not to be confused with Extreme Clue
  • Catch Phrase
  • Guesstures
  • Jenga
  • Monopoly
  • Ouija
  • Outburst
  • Payday - Not the candy, the game
  • Pictionary
  • Racko
  • Rollercoaster Tycoon - the board game
  • Scattegories
  • Scrabble
  • Sorry! - (The Exclamation Point is part of the game's name, not to show that I'm excited about it)
  • Taboo! - (That excalamation point is purely my own excitement)
  • Trivial Pursuit

Now, that's a tough act to follow, no bones about it, but wait to cast your vote util you see what Milton Bradley has to offer...

Milton Bradley

  • 1313 Dead End Drive
  • Ants in the Pants
  • Barrel of Monkeys
  • Battleship
  • Bop It! - (Yes, Bop It! Extreme too)
  • Candy Land
  • Connect Four
  • Cootie
  • Don't Break the Ice
  • Guess Who?
  • Hangman
  • Hungry Hungry Hippos
  • Mouse Trap
  • Operation
  • Parcheesi
  • Pretty Pretty Princess - (And I'm pretty sure, the Disney version as well)
  • Risk
  • Stratego
  • The Game of Life
  • Twister
  • Upwords - (Which we have yet to play, by the way)
  • Yahtzee

  • So, yeah, that's about it. And you take this premise, and you decide which company beats the crap out of each other. Tomorrow: a 3-way duel between McDonalds, Burger King, and Wendy's. And now to the word of the day:
