I still have all nine fingers.
Being the only one of our friends or relatives not to live inside a city limits, we had fourth of July at our house this year. We cooked ribs and had beans, salad, deviled eggs, rolls, s'mores, pies, cookies..... I'm only allowed to eat vegetables for the next week.
After dinner and desert, we attempted to blow up the neighborhood. Between us, my brother-in-law and my friend Vic, we had a good-sized pile of fireworks. Vic had a bunch of mortars and big fountains, I had a variety of small stuff. We put on a pretty good show with no injuries or fires (this time).
