Brad vs. the lumberjack look
So I've been lazy in regards to shaving lately, and as such I am growing quite a scruffy beard. I look like, well, you can use any cliched beard expression you want (hobo, lumberjack, Unabomber, etc.). It looks terrible. Just god-awful. I'd post a picture, but I don't want any photo evidence.
Yesterday, I hit the mall and actually completed my Christmas shopping before the 24th for the first time since....ever. I seriously think people treated me differently with the wildman look. A group of teenage girls gave a look of disgust. Babies cried in terror as I approached.
This may have entirely been in my head.
In other news, my family's all home for Christmas (not that they're ever all that far away), and I've really enjoyed the past few days. Things haven't been going so great for any of us recently, so maybe it's been good to have each other around.
I'm excited for tomorrow. Christmas is pretty awesome.
