Four day weekend was nice..
Thanksgiving Day:
I thought we were goin' out of town, but after talkin' to my mom prior to Thanksgiving, I found out we were havin' it at my uncle and aunt's in town. Some relatives of ours (Uncle Steve and Aunt Theresa) came up from Arkansas, hence the stayin' in town for Thanksgiving.
I woke up around 11 am and later went over to Uncle Winston and Aunt Phyllis's house for Thanksgivin' a little after noon.
I had about two big platefuls, but my stomach wasn't feelin' so good, because of the night before. I had some Jack Daniels on Wednesday night (Thanksgiving Eve), so.. I didn't have any dessert. Blah, when I started to feel better, the mincemeat pie was practically gone. *cries* Only one was made, compared to about seven freakin' pumpkin pies.
Anyways, the night before, I tried to attempt goin' on Halo 2 Live while gettin' pissed on Jack Daniels, but that didn't work out. I managed to get as far as gettin' into the pregame lobby, but after that, I seemed to have passed out. I started about 12:30 am, so when I woke up, it was 6 fuckin' 30 in the morn!! Everyone had left the stats page, so I looked through it, and what did I see.. ONE kills and TEN deaths. One kill, eh? I don't even REMEMBER that. I just turned everything off and went straight up to bed.
We went back over to my parents to hang out with Steve and Theresa a bit longer and had "leftover dinner" there. But I didn't really have anything because of my stomach. I did however ended up eatin' two bowls of fruit salad eventually.
We went to Blockbusters around a little before 7:30 pm and rented some DVDs. I picked up these DVDs (linked to a page with a description near the bottom) movie called Final Examination (like I said before - WEIRD), Girl, Interrupted (been meanin' to see the whole thing, heh, I actually cried a little near the end :(), Reindeer Games (seen it before, been meanin' to again to get back into the Holiday Spirits :D), and rented a Bruce Lee movie for my brother - Game of Death II.
Of course, later that Thanksgivin' (Thursday) night, some showed up to Greeks so I decided to go, too. I stayed a little later than I usually do because of work on Friday's, but it was the holidays, so I stayed out a little longer, chillin' with the usual people there.
Friday, Nov. 26th:
I woke up around 9 am to take advantage of the After Thankgiving Sale. After my bro was ready, we went up to Best Buy and got there a little after 10. The game he wanted wasn't on sale there, but it was at Target. I got a SanDisk Mini Cruzer 512 MB FlashDrive, or to see a bigger pic, click HERE. Just keep in mind that that pic shows a 256 MB one, so replace the 256 MB with 512 MB, and that would be what I got. It was offering a rebate thing, which after rebates, it would be $30. The retail price was $50, but I brought in five of my Best Buy Bucks supplied from McDonald's Monopoly games recently and got it for $45 instead. I already sent in my rebate forms later that day.
My brother just got the Ultimate Edition Rambo Trilogy Pack.
We left after that and went over to Target, but the game he wanted was sold out there. It was for $15 less than what Best Buy had showed, so.. but they were sold out. We just ended up gettin' each other a DVD for Christmas. I had him get me Original Sin with Angelina Jolie and Antonio Banderas, while I picked him up the Universal Soldier with Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren. They finally released that movie on DVD.
We went to Butlers later that night, but I did not win a single dollar. :(
Saturday, Nov. 27th:
Nothing special, just chillin' most of the day, watchin' the DVDs.
Back to Greeks that night. Tried to win what I could back from the last two nights, practically gave up when I came across a $35 winner on a $.25 cents pulltab ticket. Ahh well, that's about 80% of my spendings back. Better than nothin'.
Sunday, Nov. 28th:
Just laundry and me chillin' to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Met The Pain (beat him first try, took a while though), and later The Fear (kinda annoyin' battle, but beat him in a few tries). I'm likin' it more now that I'm deeper into the game.
Not much else to report.. can't believe the weekend's already over. :( Oh well, a few more weeks 'til the Christmas Break.
