getting slammed
So today I got *two* direct messages from people on Yelp because I was very sarcastic in a review of Buffalo Exchange, telling me they were offended. Whoa. I wasn't really trying to personally attach anyone, I was kind of trying to make fun of the people who were bitching about the fact that they don't always buy the clothes that you bring in... I guess I hadn't thought about the culture of Yelp! very much until now, but I'm beginning to think that there are a lot of thin-skinned people on there. Also maybe it's more civil than most other open online communities?
