Comment on this post. I will choose 6 interests from your profile and you will explain what each of them means (and why you're interested in them).

kcohen gave me the following 6:

Beaches

I actually remember seeing this in the theater.  I believe it was Big Business that I found out about Bette Midler, and when I saw previews for Beaches, I had to see it.  My parents were going to take me out for a movie and they wanted to take me to see Twins, but I begged to see Beaches (not realizing it was PG-13 and I was only 8).  To this day, my mom still teases me about it being my first 'big girl movie.'

Boston Red Sox

Believe or not, I wasn't a Red Sox fan until the summer of 2001.  Sure, I'd been to a few games and watched once in awhile, but I was hooked that summer when I worked on the Boston Red Sox: 100 Years of Baseball History at my internship at a production company.  I was very involved with that project all summer and became a big sox fan.

Dennis Quaid

I honestly cannot remember when I became a fan of Dennis.  I know I've loved his movies for years now, but I can't remember when it began.  Dennis and Kurt Russell are the only two 'older' actors I find actractive.

George Eads

Just a Walk in the Park is what got me interested in George.  I had seen CSI a few times before, but never fully paid attention to George or the show.  But there was something about him in that tv movie that got me hooked.  He was such a sweetie, and I kept thinking, he's the guy from CSI, i've got to watch that.  And so I got hooked on CSI and became a fan of Marg.

Marica Cross

Desperate Housewives.  I just liked Bree, something neurotic and anal about the character that I liked.  And so I became a fan of Marcia's.

The Number 23

Virginia Madsen.  What can I say.  Last season I wanted to watch this new show, Smith, because not only did it look interesting, it had Ray Liotta (ok, I lied he's the third older guy I find attractive.  Love him in Goodfellas) and Simon Baker.  Too very good looking guys.  I really liked the show and found something very interesting about Virginia that made me want to watch more of her work (especially since they took Smith off tv).  Fortunately, a few months later, on the same day, Virginia had two movies come out and The Number 23 was one of them.  I was psyched way before it came out from the website and I thought Virginia looked really great in the black wig.  For a little while,  I started doing the number adding game to get 23, but was annoyed because if you cheated just so, you got 23 a fair amount of times.  I was pretty freaked at first when I had my car accident on February 3rd, February being the second month and the 3rd day of the month made it 23.  But I let  it go a few weeks later.  I still need to buy this DVD.

marcia cross, boston red sox, beaches, dennis quaid, george eads, the number 23
