Okay, I'll try to explain I am about in another post, but here's a quick response.
What do I want out of life? Hehe. That's exactly what I've been trying to find focus on lately. There are lots and lots of things I want, most of them simple to say, but difficult to do. I've got a lot going on and it's tough for me to verbalize what is going on right now. It is on my list to attempt that, but it's a big task. Here's a super quick rundown of what I'm currently about:
--transforming my anger and frustration into outward focused creative work and positive change --discovering sustainable ways to live that accommodate my needs including my need to explore my passions to the fullest. passions include: multi-media art, and leaving Earth in a better condition than I found it so future generations of plants and animals (humans included in the animals) have a chance to have a good life, too
One thing that occurs to me is that some of the stuff that I'm saying is stuff I find amusing in that "I've gotta laugh otherwise I'd have to end it all" kind of way. Try reading it in that light.
If you want something different, try my Flickr. http://www.flickr.com/photos/bigsocktramp/ For whatever reason, my visual art is more playful. Probably because I'm playing when I make it. For me, writing is a tool more than it is a toy.
PS I AM white, insofar as I believe in such distinctions. Regardless of my self identification, I am afforded white privilege. That's the reason I've got to choose to work on racism so hard. If I weren't perceived as white, I would have no choice but to deal with racism every day.
