Well, the weekend is fast approaching due to Friday being a holiday. The gang at work is doing a potluck. Now potluck means that everyone brings something in but they rely on me to do the grilling. I don't mind it until they start saying how they want there burgers and brats cooked. I'm sorry but pre-made patties are only done when they are done. Also, if you like shit charbroiled we will use flame torches on that. Anyway, back to the point. I volunteered to bring in macaroni salad. Thank God that Sentry has it in tubs. I'm not shorting anyone out by not having home made, am I? They won't care, IT'S FREE!!!!!!!!
Work has been OK this week. I began the weekly trips to DeKalb, Illinois on Monday. At first I rejected the idea of me having to go down there. Then I was struck by a guiding light; an epiphany if you will. While I was checking into my hotel I glanced over my shoulder to see every chubby kids dream. A waffle maker in the Continental Breakfast area!! Oh ya baby! I could hardly sleep with all of the anticipation of that warm, soft waffle meeting my lips. Nothing wrong with a warm breakfast to start your day.
Life other than all of the above has been good. On 4/4 a group of us went to our local Quaker Steak and Lube for all you can eat wings. There was a time when I looked around the room and said to myself, "Corey, you have great friends." No matter what comes my way, I'll make it because of the people around me. Thanks guys.
Until we meet again!
