How goes it everybody? I'm at the library again, addicted to the internet connection that they so graciously offer.

Last night was our first South-Carolina-Socializing-ExperienceTM. We drove out to Florence, SC, which is about 70 miles East of Columbia, and hung out with a couple of guys that we met on LJ. They were pretty nice guys and they have a nice house out in the middle of the country just west of Florence. We didn't really do much, but it was good to be able to talk to some people that weren't bloodline.

There was talk of accompanying them to a gay club (oh yeah, they're gay) on Saturday night. Brian and I both find this idea entertaining and I think we'll probably be joining them. (For those of you who don't already know or might need some clarification, Brian and I are heterosexual). Apparently this club shares a building with a Baptist church. I'm sure that pictures will ensue.

I also cyber-met someone who has a birthday the day before mine. We're tentatively scheduled to meet with her tomorrow night, but I'm waiting to hear back from her about that. It would be awesome if we ended up getting along, then a huge monster party can be planned for the end of February. It would have to be at her house with her friends though, so maybe that won't be happening. Regardless of how that turns out, I do hope to be meeting her tomorrow evening.

Not much else to report right now. We'll be working on the website tonight at my uncle's house while doing laundry. If that gets done, I'll make a post with the URL and such. After that we will be going to the Hunter Gatherer for a open jazz session. You can bet your ass that I'll be playing a few songs. For any of you in the Columbia area, feel free to come out and support your local music scene. I'll be the one kicking ass on the drum set.

Hope to see y'all later. Take it easy.

Edit: I'm not sure if we'll be at the Hunter Gatherer tonight, seeing as how the lady on the phone told me that it becomes a bar when the music starts. I'm a little pissed about that.

We're doing laundry at my uncle's place now and we'll try to get in the door before they start carding people. Wish us luck.
