I had a recent trip to Los Angeles to visit my friend Dave. The flight there and back was surprisingly nice. It was broken up by plane changes in Memphis, and Dallas.
It was nice to meet Dave, and to get aquainted. Had nice meals out, the Italian was great as well as the breakfast burrito. Dave also was a gracious host, and prepared meals for us. The spaghetti, omelette, waffles and everything else was terrific!!
It was a real treat to experience the culture and scenery of LA. Venice beach, Santa Monica pier, Hollywood all were a treat to get to see for the first time. It felt good to walk and see all the sights. We also took in a remake of the wizard of oz.
I left inspired, refreshed, and recharged by the kindness and hospitality of my gracious host.
