Is there an easy way to export my LJ posts somewhere else?

I do prefer LJ's simple format over google+ =(

I've been trying to import my posts to Dreamwidth, but without success (could be problems on LJ's end, for all I know).

Yeah, I've only been holding off on importing to Dreamwidth because I figure that won't work while the DOS attack is ongoing.

I'm not sure if I'm going to use Dreamwidth as a permanent solution, but it'd be nice to have all my old stuff backed up somewhere.

Update: Import successful! Now I'm waiting for comments to port over, too.

I used LJ Archive to back my journal up to my PC locally. I guess I can try importing to Dreamwidth and setting up crossposting too when I have the time.

Seconded. Everything but comments on my entries has been ported over. Unfortunately, we still need as many people as possible to come over to dreamwidth for their friends' page to match functionality (you can add RSS feeds to your dreamwidth friends page, but only premium LJ users can create RSS feeds of their entries)
