I used LJ Archive to back my journal up to my PC locally. I guess I can try importing to Dreamwidth and setting up crossposting too when I have the time.
Seconded. Everything but comments on my entries has been ported over. Unfortunately, we still need as many people as possible to come over to dreamwidth for their friends' page to match functionality (you can add RSS feeds to your dreamwidth friends page, but only premium LJ users can create RSS feeds of their entries)
I do prefer LJ's simple format over google+ =(

I'm not sure if I'm going to use Dreamwidth as a permanent solution, but it'd be nice to have all my old stuff backed up somewhere.
