- Learn to prioritize, manage, as well as budget your life. Use notepads to record dates, lists, thoughts, and events to start. Over time and constant use, it should aid in remembering such things for yourself. Start writing a journal, it doesn’t have to be work related, just write whatever you feel like.
- Go to College. Just go. You need to get involved with something outside of work and where you stay. Yes, college will add pressure to your life, but it will allow you to become more comfortable around people. Learn to express your ideas and not silence yourself. Take a few classes just to refresh yourself on the basics, as well as getting used to writing essays and doing homework.
- Take responsibility for your actions, whether they are good or bad, they are just something that you need to deal with, in time you will learn to take a situation and deal with it in a way that is well thought out, calm, and sensible.
- Anger is not a solution, it is only a release of a built up emotion that has passed a threshold of control. It can be kept back in a stable region by not restraining your opinions, talking to those people that make you feel anger, diminished, and insignificant.
- Be more aware of the people around you. Try To empathize with them, and think about what is making them feel the way that they feel. Don’t rely on them to give you all the info; you need to extract your own data.
- Stop saying “Sorry” and “No problem”. Sorry has become a reflex almost, start judging when you should actually say sorry, when you have something that is your fault, rather then when you have nothing to say. And don’t say “No Problem” you say it to people that you didn’t do anything for, say “Your Welcome”, “Thank you”.
- Cut back on smoking, If not for clearer presence of mind, and then do it for the money you will save. Start rolling your own as well; instead of spending $50 on a carton every week, you need as much money as possible. Smoking all the time just keeps you out of it; once or twice a day is more than enough, once during the day and once at night. If someone else wants to smoke when you are not around these times, then just pass it up; smoke one of your cigarettes. Try and go for two in the morning, on the way to work, two at breaks, and five when you come home. One before sleep. 
- Have more confidence in yourself. You are a good person; everyone in your life has told you this at one point or another. You have done lot o bad things and a lot of good things as well. You ask nothing in return of anyone, and will always accept a no when it is given. Stop thinking of things you should of done differently in the past, there is only now, and the future. The past is still there, but not to dwell on, take what you can learn from it in a clear state of mind, then move on to deal with the now and future. You can repay those who hold you in debt for things you have done in the past not change what happened.
