A long and short month

Nov 30, 2008 20:11

Okay it's been a few days since I've returned to U.S. but I'm so lazy to write on LJ. My brain is still vacation mode.

Three weeks in Japan seems to be a long time and still it went like a snap. Since I'm just a sidekick to my son, I couldn't go to any fancy restaurant or having a night out, but I had a good time nevertheless.

Highlights:
Kabuki! 4th row center!
Disneyland and free Hilton stay
Seeing beautiful Mt. Fuji from the hotel
Visiting cousins and uncle/aunts
Buying lots of nice yarns and knitting books
Making baby items and amigurumi
Watching Obama's winning speech on internet

Lowpoints:
A play by Hisashi Inoue (directed by a Japanese well known director Ninagawa) BORING
Got a cold
Couldn't go to see "Making A Chorus Line" world premire movie
Not seeing Takarazuka

Things will be hectic at work and home during December as usual.
I'm looking forward to January already.
