I need some help...
OK... So I am turning 18 in August. I want to have a party. Now, I am not trying to sound egotistical, but I have a lot of friends. I honestly want to have around 120 people at my party. My parents are hesitant to allow me to do this. I have a place in mind that would fit the people, so that isn't a big problem. However, my parents are worried about people bringing drugs, alcohol, vandalism, or having "sexual encounters" (as they said), and are concerned about not being able to watch everyone. So that kinda erks me if that is the reason they won't allow me to have a bg party. I understand that those are reasonable things to worry about, but my friends know me and know that I won't allow them to stay if they do any of those things.
Anyways... My mom also came up with the idea of having 4 separate parties with roughly 30 people at each, at my house. Now to me, that just sounds tacky. An invitation might read: "You are invited to Kevin's 18th Birthday party. You are invited to party C (refer to party listings at bottom for dates and times)." That to me is just weird. I have never heard of it being done, and I don't mind trying new things, but I kinda just want to have one big party and get it over with... So if anyone has any suggestions feel free to let me hear them! Thanks!
