i got a lot to say...Angela, you said most of it so ill be repetative to you. I DECAY FUCKING OWNS!!! that will sum up most of what I'm going to say. annnyway, angela and i went the odyssey (yes the titty bar) last night to see I DECAY with If He Dies, He Dies...both were good, but of course I DECAY was amazing, even though they didn't really put on a "show" Nick told me they play there for the money so yea...so we get there and angela was boozin it up in the car...she was drunk i dont care what she says. then the bassist for if he dies, he dies puked in his hand and wanted me to smell it. sooo we went in, by the way...i thought strippers were supposed to be hot? so we went in and gumby came and sat down with us for a bit, then nick sat with us. we chatted a bit, watched if he dies, he dies. then angela and i moved right in front to see i decay play. during the mic check the sound guy said something a gumby didnt hear he so he said "what? you want me to pull out my nuts...i dont think joe would like that" to which i replied "no i dont mind at all" to which gumby replied "oh! he wouldnt mind at all" i thought it was funny. they opened with For My Hate, went into Sorry I'm Not Sorry, then i dont remember but right before the greatest song ever Mike said "Joe, this is for you" then BOOF! DRUG CRUSH!!! sooooo fucking goooooooooooood!!!! skeet skeet skeet. they also played still burning which was sweet because they dont play it often because gumby "cant sing" but hes gotten a lot better. he credits it to killswitch engage "track 2" lol
so they got done playing and we were just hanging out, finally got a shirt. :) those guys really are just fucking awesome. so we were standing around and gumby invited us back to The Vault to drink a bit and chill, so fuck yea we went. so we got there and talked to nick for a minute then went in the basement to party it up, but not really. i think its so cool that i decay thinks so...whats the word im looking for...i want to say much but i dont think thats right. but anyway gumby was talking to one of the guys from if he dies, he dies and he goes "thats big poppa joe! he runs our fan site" it made me feel nice. then later he was talking to the guy about how you can connect with one person headbanging at a show and gumby was like "yea, and that's usually big poppa joe!" and gave me a high five lol...the little things in life like that make me happy :-D something that pissed me off...Eric Gunnels(owner of the vault) had the For: My Hate EP in his basement with a JEWEL CASE!!! I WANTED TO STEAL IT!!! but i bought a cd from the if he dies, he dies guys...its good. they are cool! Eric is cool too, he was telling ang and i about how he found i decay and whatnot but he never finished...sometimes i wish i lived in clio, there seems to be a lot cooler people and more people i relate to there... but anyway i really hope i get my interview tomorrow for the banana internship!! itd be grrrrreat!!!
