Child's Play
I think I may have helped my iPhone situation. I did a soft reset on it by holding the wake up/sleep and home button until the thing restarts itself. iPhone seems to be responding better. Maybe all the excitement of 2.0 was giving him the jitters. Here are the applications I've downloaded so far:
1.) AIM - The application works great. It's easy and does what you want it to do. I wish I could use other applications while having it run in the background
2.) AOL Radio - Same as above. I'm impressed. I can listen to WCCO! Like AIM, running in the background would be the pimp shnizzle.
3.) iMaze - Ass. Deleted already.
4.) WeatherBug - I'm pleased with it. Seems good and the camera shots and radar is a nice touch. I wish you could have more than 3 predetermined locales though. 3 is hardly enough.
5.) facebook - *sigh* a lot of cool features...like the camera and seeing pictures posted (along with the comments!) and chat...but it lacks other things that make the web app seem better...like posting on walls? seeing requests? if they combined the two (the app and web app...it would be an unstoppable force)
6.) Pandora - I like the ease of the AOL Radio application better but it works really well, especially for those with exsisting Pandora accounts.
7.) SportsTap - Meh...it works. They do not, as of now, post NCAA hockey scores. Seems easy to use though. If something better comes along I'll go with it. Suggestions?
8.) BoxOffice - Really a neat looking application. The one I've messed around with the least though. Reviews from Rotten Tomatos, nearby theaters, times, purchasing tickets...all add up to a neat application. Now to just it more often. The Dark Knight anyone?
9.) Graffitio - I have no idea what this does.
10.) JirboBreak - I love "Breakout"-type games. This one is fun. I get frustrated because sometimes it says I miss...when it clearly goes throught the paddle. I get angry..but then I forget about it and play it more.
11.) Morocco - The Reversi classic. I suck at this game...but it's fun.
12.) Aurora Feint - I'm surprised this game is free. Graphics are cool...sound is awesome. Best game I've d/l'ed so far.
13.) PhoneSaber - Best. Application. Ever.
Are there others you have or seen that you like? Suggestions? :)
