The Green Card

Earlier this week, all the management was called into the big manager's office.  We had a brief meeting about business and blah blah blah.  After we were done, he reminded us to sign the card that was on his desk.  It said "Thanks" on it and I figured it was for a departing employee.

So I asked, "Who is this for?" as I bend down to start to sign the card.

My boss, often the jokester replied, "Brett Favre."

I laugh out loud in response.  "hahaha"

Then the truth came crashing down as his silent stare punched me in the gut.

I wish I was kidding.
