The Wash
For those following this blog, you know what I was following the adventures and turmoil of Hooters Restaurant opening in this very Catholic conservative town. You also know that, unfortunately, very few things happened that were noteworthy...like riots, protests, etc etc. I'm not sure if that will actually change but I am pleased to report that at least Hooters is trying to upset people.
As Katie and I were driving by, their marquee said "Bikini Car Wash Tomorrow 11 am." I'm not sure if this is to celebrate them finally gaining a hard-liquor license or the start of good weather/spring but I hope that it brings out the crazies! I wonder how successful it will be.
