A little disappointed
Well, I did not get the part of Joe, the lead, in Damn Yankees. I finished second behind a Senior. I think he will do a fine job. I imagine I am the understudy but who knows. It is hard to not get the part you want but that is life in the theatre world. There are going to be so many more "NO's" said to me and I can deal with it. Being told no will only make me stronger. I will get to be one of the core ball players who, I am told, are on stage a lot and get to have all the fun with the big songs and dances. It sounds exciting but I am a little bitter.
On a happier note the director hear loves the way I sing "The Last Five Years" and maybe he will do that in the future.
I am so damn tired I just want to go home and wake up
