In case you fell off the grapevine, I'm going to be in L.A. this weekend so Beauty and the Geek can give me a makeover. scottieque entered a short-essay contest, with me as the subject as it were, and we won. (She won? I won?)
I have to say, I'm pretty apathetic about the whole thing.
The timing is crap. I've had to bust my ass to get projects done and had to reschedule a party to the middle of the week in order to make this possible.
But whatever. In a couple hours I'll wake up, go to the airport, and try to enjoy a weekend in L.A. (unlike the last two times I was there, which left me with a particularly bad impression). The makeover cannot do any permanent harm.
