I am going to Seattle, also ( Ft. Lewis) in ten days. I am excited for various reasons but I am truly happy that I am going to see my Mauricio. I have not seen him since Christmas. It is hard to be away from him but I accept that and I realize I can not be selfish. What I mean by selfish is that I understand that we have to be away from each other right now but in the future will have all the time we need. If it wasn't for the things that happened in my life before I am probably wouldn't be this strong. This is one thing I do not want to fail at. I am thankful to have someone who is patriotic, willing to defend this country while others moan and whine about it, someone who wants to protect me, my family and others around me. He's a good man. When he goes Iraq, to help that country and its citizens he will by hero.
