Da zombie entry
Been a while since I have written in here so I thought I might.
I saw Resident Evil 3 last night. I left the theater not with the feeling of wow that was cool but instead a feeling of "well thats over with".
The movie was ok. While better than the 2nd one and having more action than the first the was little reason to watch it. The main characters special powers are kind of cool and she uses them in awesome ways but the movie still felt stale.
My favorite parts were them clearing the motel with two people. It was the only real suspence in the whole movie. The other jumping moments were caused by loud noises and crackling electricity. Which is stupid.
I also love the fact that having been on the road for over what... 5 years? The most hair any man has on his face is a 5 O'Clock shadow and all the women look like dolls. Apparently the group ran into a Maybaline factory and a Gellette factory while on the road so they will never run out of razors and make up but food is entirely too hard to come by.
The ending was just lame and not an ending. If they made another movie with that ending it had better be WAY over the top or it would be pointless to watch. My guess even with that it would be pointless too watch.
I think the zombies were much better in this one. I do have to say that all the jumpsuit zombies were hilarious. Aparently umbrella corperation hire people that like to play dolly and dress up zombies in like uniforms. I found that extremely funny and laughed alone in the theater. As for the other zombies they had good make up and seemed more believeable and scary than the other two films.
I would give this movie 2.5-3 stars which is one of the lowest ratings I have ever given a zombie movie.
