Bank Holiday Weekend
So ... what have I done with this weekend without talking about cricket ?!
Well, Nance and I had a nice day out on Saturday, having lunch in the sunshine by the sea in Gosport followed by a bit of shopping and then watching Kung Fu Panda. An ok film ... quite entertaining :)
Sunday was cricket day (see previous entry) and then today, we had another film day by going to see Star Wars : The Clone Wars :) I enjoyed this ... not sure if Nance did ... beautifully animated and all that. It does mean I need the new Lego models from the film more now, but that will have to wait till I have some spare cash.
We also had food at Ha Ha Bar which was nice. We wanted Nandos but the wait was 45 minutes, just to get a table!!
We also did a bit of driving practice for Nance in my car in the IBM car park. It all went very well, apart from some annoying boys on bikes getting in the way and riding around in circles around the car. One of them threw something at the car and I got out and yelled at them ... they soon sped off. Little fuckers.
Anyways ... we basically need to get Nance a small car for more practice ... but we need to wait for Nance's tax reclaim to come through before we can do that. We'll get the north west element of the family to do a search as well all know, cars are cheaper up there :)
