So ... it turns out my wrist / scaphoid isn't broken, so I'm now out of the splint and on the road to building up the strength in my wrist again over the next few weeks. So that's good news

Mine is as bad as it was when I first fell (14 months ago) at the moment.. off to the docs in the morn to find out if there's much they can do. Sounds like you should be good again though - def make sure you don't do too much too soon..
I've had to start wearing my splint again it's been so bad, but hoping I can get a wrist support as the plate that's for the thumb when you have a suspected scaphoid isn't very comfy is it? heh.
