(no subject)
I am officially a geek ... was listening to Radio 1 in the shower this morning (now there's a nice image for you!! :P) and they had a competition about Star Wars. They built up the question saying it was really hard and that none of them knew the answer ... the question was :
What as the Surname of Wedge, Luke's wingman in the final Death Star scene ?
I knew the answer instantly ... !! :S *geek*
Didn't enter as the prize was related to doing something this weekend in Bradford ... and this weekend, Nance and I are off to my bro's for a weekend of babies and little chidlers! Woo ... fun :D
Anyway ... in other news ... urrrmmm ... I am TOTALLY bored at work at the moment. Everyone seems to be on holiday and those that are here are taking ages in doing stuff which I need for me to do stuff, so I'm just kinda twiddling my thumbs until someone asks me for help! Hah! Which, coincidentally, has just happened as I write this ... sods law! :P
Take yesterday for example ... I went and had my haircut and in that time, no new work or e-mails came in. Come 4pm, I was completely bored and given that I was at home, I just left the laptop on so I could see it and watched Pirates of the Caribbean 2 with Nance. hehe ... this LoveFilm thing is quite good ... must think of some other things to get with it.
*pauses whilst person comes to see me*
*10 minutes pass*
Annnnnd we're back to being bored ... in the office today because I'd been at home on Tuesday which is one of my two normal in the office days. Still, I prepared by bringing in a load of CDs to listen to, so that should keep me from getting too bored.
This is all a bit nuts when I think that next week, I'll be really busy again, because our next load of monthly data will be available and I'll be into the cycle of reporting and analysing that. I think this is just an odd time of year.
