(no subject)
So, after learning 10 days ago that Woolworths were having a 25% off sale on all Lego I've been trying to find a shop that sold either the Jabba's Sailbarge or Imperial Star Destroyer sets. I tried the stores in Fareham, Slough (twice) and finally Basingstoke, where I found a Sailbarge for the bargain price of £45 (reduced from £60) :D I managed to sneak out to the Woolies there as we had a 20 minute wait there on the way home from Slough! hehe ... I was really pleased to get one, just a shame that no-one seemed to be able to get me an ISD in the sale :( You couldn't order it online.
Sadly, the sale is now over ... however, just cos I know you like sharing, here are some pics :D
It's a pretty cool set and a great build ... even though it does have the evil of modern Lego, i.e. stickers and even worse, 1 sticker over multiple bricks! Tsk ... terrible, but for the price, it's a big set with plenty of minifigs and getting the Saarlac pit is a great bonus :)
