New Lego!
Yes, it's another one of those geek entries I'm afraid! :P
So yes, when Nance and I went to Brighton, I decided to spend a little (less than 10%) of my bonus on new Lego ... ya know, to treat myself and so that all of the bonus didn't go on bills / overdrafts and saving for the Euro trip!
So, I bought 3 sets ... a V-Wing :
A Tie Interceptor :
And finally, the main purchase, A Sandcrawler!!!
This is supposed to be a Jawa workshop which is basically removable from the main body of the Sandcrawler!
Instead of that big tube thing that sucks the droids up, we got a crane thingy, which is pretty cool I spose. I think it was too expensive / difficult to replicate the hose thing, but also it probs had something to do with playability for kids!
And these two are to re-create the scene where Uncle Owen buys the droids ... initially leaving R2 behind, but then the red R2 blows up, so he gets bought too :D
