(no subject)
Well, I made a bit of a school boy error yesterday ... I worked from home in the morning cos I thought my bed was being delivered! The guy in the shop told me "thursday" but failed to highlight that he meant a week on Thursday! The fool .... we even had a 5 minute conversation based on the fact that I said "it's ok, i can stay in and watch the Ashes" and we then talked about Brett Lee and Glenn McGrath possibly still being out injured. It shoulda occured to him that there wasn't an ashes game starting on the 18th August!! Fool!
Ahhh well, not to worry, I got just as much work done *and* I got to watch the opening morning of play! hehe :D Such a shame I can't do the same today, cos now I'm at work! Ahh well, I'll have TMS and, if the techy guys have got it working again, I can watch a web cam of a TV from the Hursley labs via the intranet!! *lol*
In the mean time, I'm listening to X&Y ... jeez, this is a great album! :D
My weight loss is still going in the right direction, possibly helped by swimming last night! Still got a fair way to go though .... should buy a bike soon really, but, having just bought a bed and all the duvets / pillows / sheets etc and wardrobes / cabinets etc for the 2nd bedroom, I'm pretty skint at the moment!
