(no subject)
Ankle update ... all of the purples are darker but less painful ... more bruises coming out too ... hehe
I can, however, walk fine on it ... so no problems there ... will probs be about another 2 weeks until all the bruises clear up, but I reckon I can play again next weekend! :) Probs a good game to miss this week, cos we won by 10 wickets, so I wouldn't have got a bat anyway!
Weekend was quite quiet really ... on Saturday afternoon, Nance and I went out ... we got her new birthday watch strap adjusted (which was incredibly easy cos it had a removable piece but neither of us knew about it), bought various sundries and went to B&Q to get an outside security light and bathroom light with shaver socket ... now all my Landlord has to do is give me the money and get them fitted!
After that, we went to a BBQ with some buddies, where we got covered in champers ... cos we were sat behind the birthday boy when he got sprayed ... damn my lack of mobility! :(
In the evening, we went to see Madagascar ... quite good really, but not as funny as I'd thought it might be ... still, enjoyable and had some good moments :) Animated films are fun :D Plus, we got to watch loads of trailers for kids films ... next up, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory :D
