Managed to pick myself up a copy of Metallica's S&M double album over the weekend for £6.99 ... bargain ... I'm not sure what it is, but I really do like the mix of loud rock music and orchestras ... it works really well! :)
It is a very sad loss to the world that Michael Kamen is no longer around to create and mastermind this kind of beauty! :(
I'd got the music from this show already, on MD, from Alan (Merrington ... of Feederweb ... what happened to him?!) but I'd fancied it on a proper release for ages, so when I found it, I had it! :)

My body has reached new levels of aching today ... can hardly move!! :(

I tell you what, after cricket on Saturday, I drove back home via the coast line at Stokes Bay, mainly cos I wanted to go via the pizza shop, but also so I could see how the developments for the International Fleet Review and the Trafalgar 200 events were going. There is something really wierd and eery about seeing 40 odd warships all parked up just off the shore! It's almost as if we were under siege!! Fascinating nonetheless!
It's all happening tomorrow and given that there is only one road in and out of Gosport, I've decided to work from home and not have to even try and brave the traffic. It's bad on normal days, but tomorrow it'll be AWFUL! They're expecting 150,000 people to come for this event!! :o
will probs see if I can walk down to the coast after "work" and see what I can see ... should be spectacular!!
