Every have a day you'll never forget. Like the day you ask your girlfriend to marry you or see your child's first step. I felt like that for a few days now. I've spent three weeks working at getting a job in a lindsay radio station. I've been so obsessed with this job I haven't even played wow in three weeks. Well all my hard work has payed off. As of next week I am the evening Cruise of 91.9 bob FM in Lindsay. Yes me... Hehehe.. I almost lost the position too cause I went to my school to make some demo tapes and my director tells me that I'm using to much energy and I should slow it down, Plus I have to write out a script and go by that. What's the one complaint my new boss gives me. I love your voice, I love your personality. But your demo's had me very confused cause you just didn't sound like you do now. Plus I wasn't impressed that you were just reading a script and I was like OMFG I'm gonna punch my director in the face... but then after I explained it to Dave ( production manager for bob ) He laughs and says you know what I believe that. I do a live demo for him on the studio equipment. and he says YES! That's what I wanted to hear. Want to start after the thanks giving weekend? I stood there for like what felt like 10 mins but was only a few seconds. I smiled shock his hand and said I'll see you on tuseday... TUSEDAY! I don't want to barg about my paycheck but it's more then 20$ an hour... that's not a misprint either. So I've spent the past few days relaxing and looking at my finance plans, I've been saving money so I can buy my uncle's old stereo system. 2700 watt's are mine... To bad I don't have a car eh? So I'm moving out to lindsay next week. And my parents have this awesome surprise for me. My mom and dad sit me down. " so your moving out eh?" My mother says. " Being in lindsay your going to need a vehicle to get around out there." I look oddly at my father. " Yeah a car would be nice to travel with. But Between rent, food, and my school loan I'm sure I'll be at a lower income. " My mom looks at my dad" well we've been talking and we want you to save any money you can till your birthday, you'll be able to get your g2 by then. And were gonna help you buy a car. " My eyes drop. I'm baffled and caught totally off guard. " Done deal. " Mwhahahahaha. Could this week get any better? I don't know... but I'm gonna find out. So I'm spending my last three days at home for the thanks giving weekend and I plan on having as much fun as I can over them. Yes that means I'll be drinking oh yes. I will be drinking... So umm yeah... finance wise I figure I'll be able to save about 200$ a month after bills.
