This wonderful weekend

I just had an insanely fun filled weekend and I am so happy and in love and I just want to take a little moment to gush about it before I go to bed and have to start the work week again. Friday was good, a long day at work and sad that I had to stay later and missed the casino boat thing which I really would like to do sometime. It was supposed to be free admission because it was the first of the season or something. I love buffets and gambling haha so yea.. sad I missed that. I came home and played with Minipan a bit, then cooked a chicken chow mein with special thanks to Trader Joe which I put on the adorable crab plate that i'd been meaning to give to Matt. So I brought him over dinner on it :-)

Friday night we just hung out, watched our usual tv shows and then went to bed.. I may have played GTA 4 that night too but I don't remember. Either way, I fricking love that game! Oh yea.. I finished reading Middlesex while he played his DS. I love that so much. Just lying next to each other in bed doing our own thing. I can't wait til September where we'll be able to do it all the time. Then Saturday morning we awake and went to the pride parade. It was a beautiful day for it. A little too warm but not too bad. Then we bought tons of good stuff from haymarket and came back to prepare for cookout gamenight! It was excellent, good foods and good company and good gaming.

Today, went with Matt to the MIT tech swap thingie, not really my scene but that was fine he wanted to go. Then we went to Guitar Center and I fell in love with everything and touched and played with and fingered all I could get my hands on. I want everything! It had been a while since I've been there to just play with the instruments so that was fun.

And also I decided to take my family out for dinner for Father's Day. Matt suggested Kaze Shabu Shabu in chinatown which turned out to be a big hit :-) Everyone was happy I think. My dad was surprisingly talkative with Matt and he's usually a quiet guy. Aside from friendly sibling banter that doesn't count and is funny, no one was even enraged at anyone else during dinner which is a big plus. Then after we left them, Matt bought me a few pastries at Bao Bao, we had great timing right before the rush at the store closing for the day.

Then came home and figured out how to get my keyboard to work with my new computer which I am very happy about! I played with fruityloops for a while. Not getting any fantastic results but feels good none the less. I am just so happy about this weekend. My heart is still beaming (?) and I feel all smiley. I was really satisfied in every way possible. I hope this will keep me in a good mood for the rest of the week! :-)  I love you friends <3
